MNS (also known as Emergency Communication System) was developed by the military nearly 15 years ago to protect their personnel and properties. Mass Notification Systems protect life by indicating the existence of an emergency situation and communicating information necessary to facilitate an appropriate response. All staff and guests will be alerted of any impending danger and how to respond by prerecorded messages and visual alerts on strategically located devices throughout your facility or campus.
MNS is designed to protect from events such as:
- Security issues (secure perimeter breach, active shooter)
- Public disturbance (demonstrations, riot)
- Health or environmental hazards (toxic chemical release)
- Weather events (tornado, flood, etc.)
- Terrorism threats
